Dr. Douglas Terry D.D.S.
Dr. Terry received his D.D.S. from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston Dental Branch in 1978. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch at Houston, Texas. Dr. Terry is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and an honorary member of the Indian Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He has served as a past research associate for REALITY Research Lab and a clinical associate for REALITY Publishing. He is a member of the International Association for Dental Research. He has received a number of professional awards and has received fellowships in the American and International College of Dentists, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics. He is a member and the U.S. vice-president of International Oral Design. Dr. Terry is an editorial member of numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals and has published over 230 articles on various topics in aesthetic and restorative dentistry and has authored the textbook “Natural Aesthetics with Composite Resin.” He has lectured both nationally and internationally on various subjects in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Terry is the founder and CEO of design Technique International and the Institute of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Houston, Texas.


Dr. Karl F. Leinfelder D.D.S., MS
Dr. Leinfelder, a native of Wisconsin, earned both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science (Dental Materials) degrees from Marquette University. After serving for eight years on the faculty at Marquette, he joined the faculty at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where he attained the rank of Professor and Director of Biomaterials Clinical Research in the Dental Research Center. In 1983, he joined the School of Dentistry at the University of Alabama and is the recipient of the Joseph Volker Chair. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Biomaterials until 1994. Presently he holds positions at both universities; adjunct professor at University of North Carolina and Professor Emeritus at the University of Alabama. Recipient of the Dr. George Hollenbeck award (1995) as well as the Norton N. Ross award for outstanding clinical research (1997), and the American College of Prosthodontists Distinguished Lecturer Award (1998). He has served as Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Dental Association and is a Dental Materials Research Consultant for numerous materials companies. Dr. Leinfelder has published more than 275 papers on restorative materials, authored more than 150 scientific presentations, a textbook on restorative materials and techniques and has lectured nationally and internationally on Clinical Biomaterials.



Willi Geller
Mr. Geller is a master ceramist and dental technician from Zurich, Switzerland. Through the visionary power of his dental restorations, he has significantly influenced aesthetic awareness in dentistry for an entire generation of dental technicians and dentists. He has created rules and guidelines in dental aesthetics for technicians as well as dentists at a time when it was not in vogue that are still considered revolutionary. Mr. Geller has developed the lateral segmental layering technique, the ceramic shoulder, the “Geller-wing” technique, the Geller cutback technique, and Creation porcelain. He is recognized in the dental field as “Maestro,” the true teacher, and his ideas and concepts are followed and disseminated by outstanding international technicians and clinicians. He is the founder of Oral Design International a group of leading technicians and clinicians chosen by him to disperse new knowledge and information around the world. He has received numerous awards from international professional institutions for his outstanding professional achievements and contributions to aesthetics, laboratory communication, and dental technology. He maintains an Oral Design laboratory in Zurich, Switzerland.





Alejandro James, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Dr. James recived his DDS from the Universidad del Bajio “La Salle” in Leon Mexico in 1990. He completed a residency in prosthodontics and an Implant fellowship program for 1992 to 1995 at the University of Texas Health Science center at Houston Dental Branch. He is the former Implant Clinic Director of the Implant Program at UTHSC at Houston Texas from 1996 to 1998. He is also a graduate from the Orognathic Bioesthetic Institute from 2004 to 2007. Currently is in private practice in Leon Mexico limited to Periodontal Prosthesis, implant and Bioesthetic dentistry. He has lectured nationally and internationally and has participated in many post doctoral courses and seminars as its realtes to his sepcialty. He has published numerous scientific articles on implantology, periodontal plastic surgery procedures and aesthetic dentistry and is an associate editor for the spanish language version of Dental Dialogue







Markus B. Blatz, D.M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Blatz graduated and received an additional Doctorate as well as a postgraduate certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Freiburg, Germany. Dr. Blatz currently is Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Chairman of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He formerly was Chairman of the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry and Biomaterials; Assistant Dean of Clinical Research; and Director of the Master of Sciences in Oral Biology Program at Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Blatz is a Diplomate of the German Society of Prosthodontics and Material Sciences (DGZPW). He is Associate Editor of Quintessence International and Quintessence of Dental Technology, an editorial board member of several recognized peer-reviewed scientific dental journals. He s a member of multiple professional organizations, including the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and O.K.U. Honor Dental Society, Dr. Blatz has published and lectured extensively on various facets of restorative dentistry, implantology, and dental materials.





Susana B. Paoloski, D.D.S.
Dr. Paoloski graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, with a Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery. Subsequently, she practiced general dentistry in Buenos Aires, Argentina and completed a program for the management of Neonatal Cleft Palate and Oro-Facial defects. In 1968 she received her D.D.S. degree from Loyola University. In 1976, Dr. Paoloski completed a post-graduate residency in Periodontics at the University of Texas at Houston. She served as Professor of Dental Hygiene and Periodontics and was the Director of the School of Dental Hygiene at UT-HSC- Houston. Dr. Paoloski is a member of numerous professional organizations and is a past President of the Greater Houston District Society, She is a Fellow of the American College and International College of Dentists. She has published and lectured nationally on perioplastic surgical procedures. Dr. Paoloski maintains a private practice in Houston, Texas.







Charles N. Maragos, C.D.T.
Mr. Maragos attended Marquette University until 1969 and graduated from Milwaukee Technical College in 1971. He became a certified dental technician in 1987. He served as a clinical instructor at Baylor University and he is currently the founder and teacher of the Amara Institute. He has co-authored numerous publications and has lectured nationally and internationally on various topics on laboratory communication, preparation designs, aesthetics, and computer-aided design and computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems. He is the founder and president of Valley Dental Arts Laboratory in Stillwater, Minnesota.










Francisco Zarate, D.D.S., C.D.T.
Dr. Zarate received his D.D.S. in 1984 from Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico in Veracruz, Mexico. Subsequently, he received his C.D.T. in Crown and Bridge in 1993. He has 15 years of experience in all phases of dental laboratory technology and has spent these years studying advanced laboratory techniques in Germany and the United States. He has collaborated with world renowned ceramists including Gerald Ubassy, Mark Anderson, Paul Fichtner, Shigeo Kataoka, Oliver Brix, and August Bruguera. He was past assistant professor at the Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico from 1996 to 2000 in the department of dental materials and removable partial dentures.He is an accredited technician for the Orognathic Bioesthetic International Foundation. Dr. Zarate is a consultant for new product development for ceramic and implant manufacturers. He has published and lectured nationally on aesthetics, implant dentistry, and advanced laboratory techniques and has presented hands-on courses to dentists and technicians on these topics. Dr. Zarate is the owner of Reproduccion Ceramica Avanzada in Monterrey, Mexico.





Giuseppe Romeo, M.D.T.
Mr. Romeo was born in Port Chester, New York and served as a dental technician based in Torino, Italy. He completed his continuing education in Italy and worked in his area of expertise in the United States and Switzerland. He is a member of Oral Design International and design Technique International. Mr. Romeo has published numerous articles on laboratory techniques for peer-reviewed dental journals. He is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and president elect of the European Academy of Dental Technology. He also has co-authored a book, Precision In Dental Esthetics: Clinical and Laboratory Procedures with Dr. Domenico Massironi. He currently owns and operates a dental laboratory in Torino, Italy.
